You are the person who transforms complex propulsion engineering into clear, accurate, and practical documentation that enables teams to build, test, operate, and maintain next generation turbojet engines with confidence. As a Technical Documentation Writer, you will work alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams to capture critical technical knowledge and create the documentation that supports every stage of the engine lifecycle. Your work will help ensure our propulsion technologies are understood, repeatable, and ready for deployment in demanding aerospace applications.

At Destinus, we are revolutionizing the defense industry with cutting-edge Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). Our innovative technologies are designed to meet the unique demands of modern defense operations, delivering unparalleled speed, precision, and cost effectiveness. Destinus partners with government agencies and defense organizations worldwide to provide advanced solutions for mission-critical operations, enabling a new era of efficiency and technological superiority. Join us in shaping the future of defense with groundbreaking aerospace innovations.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, maintain, and manage technical documentation for turbojet engines including operation manuals, installation guides, maintenance procedures, test instructions, engineering reports, and service documentation.
  • Translate complex propulsion concepts, engineering data, and test results into structured, accurate, and user friendly documentation for technical audiences.
  • Collaborate closely with propulsion, mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, and test engineers to ensure documentation remains technically accurate and up to date.
  • Create documentation covering engine operation, inspection, handling, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and system integration.
  • Build and maintain a structured technical knowledge base that supports engineering, production, operations, and customer teams.
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, test reports, and design documentation to ensure consistency, traceability, and completeness.
  • Establish documentation standards, templates, and best practices that improve quality and efficiency across engineering teams.
  • Support qualification activities by preparing technical documentation required for compliance, customer deliverables, and product releases.
  • Manage document revisions, configuration control, and release processes throughout the product development lifecycle.
