At Alpine Eagle, we are building the future of counter-drone defence. As a fast-growing and internationally successful deep tech company, we specialise in aerospace engineering, defence systems, and machine learning - developing the world’s first swarm-based, airborne counter-drone system.

Modern conflicts have made one thing clear: drones are changing the face of warfare. From critical infrastructure to frontline defence, the threats are escalating - and current solutions are falling behind: Our mission is to change that effectively.

By combining cutting-edge AI with aerospace-grade engineering, we’re giving democracies and institutions committed to the rule of law the technological edge they need to protect themselves in the 21st century.

With an international team of experts, a strong financial foundation, and a bold vision for the future, we’re looking for people who want to help shape the next generation of aerial security systems - and build something that truly matters.

As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will be instrumental in advancing our drone technology. You will develop and optimize algorithms, train machine learning models, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver next-generation drone solutions.

🎯 How you will make an impact:

  • Design and Implement Algorithms: Develop computer vision algorithms for drone-based applications such as object detection, collision avoidance, and real-time tracking.
  • Data Collection and Training Pipelines: Create streamlined pipelines for data collection, training, and validation of machine learning models.
  • Collaborate with ML Engineers: Work closely with machine learning engineers to refine and optimize models specifically for aerial scenarios.
  • Integration with Hardware: Partner with the hardware team to ensure seamless integration of computer vision models with drone systems.
  • Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest advancements in computer vision technologies and research, with a special focus on aerial applications.
  • Code Reviews and Documentation: Participate in code reviews, maintain thorough documentation, and contribute to team discussions.

What you need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. PhD is a plus.
  • Proven experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or equivalent. Experience with CNN, Object Detectors and Tracking.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and C++.
  • Experience with OpenCV or other computer vision libraries.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and deploying CV models in real-world aerial scenarios.
  • A hands-on attitude and strong sense of ownership.
  • You approach complex problems systematically and document your results.
  • You are a team player. You win when the team wins.

At Alpine Eagle, you're not just taking a job - you're joining a mission.
